Why Do We Need Financial Literacy?

Do you know that only less than 1% of the total working force are investing and barely 2% are able to retire financially independent at the age of 60. It's either they end up being a burden to their children and/or relatives, or they're left and abandoned in the home for the elderly, or still struggling with an eight to five job.

You may be earning well now, well enough to support your family's needs and your comfortable lifestyle but if you don't save and invest, by the time that you retire you might just end up being a part of the 98% who retire financially broke. I'm sure you wouldn't want that for yourself nor your family.
